“Stepping back from the online world, I recently immersed myself in a truly special event – my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. Bat Mitzvah is a milestone moment as she enters adulthood, a beautiful tradition in Judaism when a girl turns twelve years old. The journey that led us to this point is a tale for another day, but I can share that we decided to make this experience unforgettable, regardless of any obstacles.

As a mom, I absolutely love traveling with my girls and introducing them to new cultures and natural wonders. When my younger daughter expressed her dream of visiting Italy, specifically Venice, my heart leaped with excitement. It had been a while since I last visited Italy, a place that has always felt like a second home to me – I even lived there during my younger years.
Turning her dream into reality became our shared mission. My task was to secure the tickets, while my daughter enthusiastically searched intriguing places she wanted to explore in Venice.
I have to say that from the start it was so flowing to plan and all and even better to travel together!
since we never really travel only me and my younger daughter but always with her older sister, she was worried, and to be honest, so was I. The last time I took my older daughter when she had a Bat Mitzvah, we went with her other 2 friends and their mums who I’m friends with, and it was so easy and fun!
This trip with my younger daughter to Venice turned out just great! We had so much fun!

What made it so good?
- Flexibility: Right from the beginning, we embraced flexibility in our plans. We allowed room for spontaneity and unexpected adventures, which added excitement to our journey.
- Listening to each other’s wishes: Everyone’s desires and interests were heard and taken into consideration. Each of us had the opportunity to explore places we were most excited about.
- Open communication: We talked a lot during the trip. Sharing our thoughts and feelings allowed us to connect on a deeper level and ensured that everyone felt valued and heard.
- Collaboration: We worked as a team, making decisions together and supporting one another. This collaborative spirit strengthened our bond and made the trip feel like a collective adventure.
- Embracing challenges: We stepped out of our comfort zones and took on new challenges, which created unforgettable memories and moments of growth for each of us.
- Eating!!!!! One of the highlights was indulging in the mouthwatering food Venice had to offer. Exploring new flavors and cuisines together added to the joy of our trip.
- A deeper connection with my younger daughter: Traveling with just my younger daughter provided an opportunity for us to truly get to know each other without any distractions. It strengthened our bond and allowed us to create beautiful memories together.
Venice itself is a magical city, and it’s hard not to enjoy its beauty and uniqueness. The city’s enchanting atmosphere played a significant role in making our experience so special.

In the end, I am incredibly grateful for this experience. It brought us closer together as a mother and daughter and allowed us to appreciate each other’s company in a new light. Venice gifted us not only with its stunning sights but also with cherished moments that will stay with us forever.
I can’t wait to go again on our next trip!
See you all very soon with more content 🙂
Yours,
Vered
